The misrepresentation from Pro Trump crowd is really flowing today. I have never referenced Trump's personal life. That is a lie.

are you now questioning whether Trump is a racist?

His business life is her personal life. He has never held public office.

And I have no interest in taking away your race card. I'm just calling you out for being selective who you pull it out for.

I'm not a Republican so its not important for me to support someone. Kasich would have forced more of a discussion on the issues. As would Christie and guys like Lindsay Graham. It doesn't matter whether a guy had a chance to win either. Not a fan of Cruz because he was one of the leaders of the shut down govt movement.

Ummmmmmmmm,

How a person acts in private, is most often how they act publicly. That's called your character.

The Clintons have been dishonest for years. No different then Trump.

Just another example of people selectively applying their "standards" to others.

Do the Clintons have discrimination judgments against them anywhere in their history? I will listen for my answer.

You are attempting to create a false equivalency and you should be called on it.

So you would not have considered voting for any Republican and you bashed both Sanders and Biden?

My point is made. Getting mad at those who don't like Hillary doesn't make sense when you are a "Hillary or bust" guy.

The Clintons imprisonment of the "poor" and the "thugs" during Bill's tenure speak much more loudly then anything Trump has done.

You were once one of the "Deplorables."

Isn't your new seat at the table GREAT?

He's gonna talk around that all day. Is there really any doubt that Clinton has hurt black people far more than Trump has? Now, I understand if LTG's stance is that that's only because Trump hasn't had the chance and electing him will give it to him. But to act like Clinton isn't a horrible person is just crazy.

The Crime Bill is the single biggest reason that murders are down in this country. A Number of African American leaders supported it at the time. I'm glad that you are willing to admit that you are a Trump supporter.

From this point further there is no reason engage LTG about the election is just a bizzaro Jimmy Reardon.

I don't know if they are or aren't. I can easily name two things that the Clintons have done which has served to help blacks. The Crime Bill also was supported by a number of black leaders and intellectual types at the time. The murder rate in black community decreased due to that bill. WHat has Trump ever done to help blacks?

Trump has never been in a position to help blacks. I think you and I can agree that he most likely won't. The difference is, I don't think the Clintons ever have and I don't believe Hillary will if elected.

This just isn't true. So what if he hasn't held public office? He's had plenty of opportunities through hiring practices, housing projects, charitable work...which he has done zero.

Yeah this just isn't true I mean he got Ben Carson a job sadly endorsing Trump. He is a provider of many jobs for people of color.

He has never been in a position to promote blacks in any of the businesses that he has run? That's a disingenuous statement. I can name two things things that were designed to help blacks which were put in place by the Clinton's. The Crime Bill also decreased the murder rate in black communities nationwide.

Trump has openly been a damn racist and had judgments rendered against him. There is no equivocation for that.

That's a narrative. I don't know if it's true or not. I'm sure he has employed some black people if that's what we define as "helping". Anyway, I'll say again, I don't want to get into defending Trump.

Real question for the group then. Who would you say the last president that actually ended up helping black communities with his policies would be? Lincoln?

You already have gotten into defending Trump though. Perceived racism and actual racism are two totally separate things. Trump has never promoted an African American to the position of executive in any of his companies. He also broke a racial quota agreement with respect to hiring at his Casino in Indiana. His racism is for real.

In fairness, many in the community weren't far from the official Clinton position in the early 90's when cheap "imported" drugs & cheaper guns were greasing the skids for yearly murder totals approaching 1k+ in places like Chicago, so what you insist speaks more loudly about race really doesn't for those of us with a frame of reference. There were/are real threats, and thanks to St. Ronnie & Lee Atwater types and a complicit media, the "only" discussed solutions involved huge overreaches with horrid long term ramifications & that language. Now also in fairness, Bill rushing back to oversee certain executions in '92 was more troubling, but virtually every mainstream candidate was falling over themselves to flip the switch. But back then the police still wrongly enjoyed a mainstream position as paragons of virtue. So there's that. Not a justification, but a real discussion of the then times.

Trump, unlike the Clintons is a next level malicious racist in his business (& I'll say it, in his seedy personal life) who has been afforded the bully's pulpit only because he's an attention grabbing whore from 1980's NYC who was enabled by his virulently racist, Klan sympathizing millionaire father (& immigrant mother  ) As evidenced by his choice of campaign head, or press secretary who characterized Trump supporters in "deplorable" type terms when she was on Cruz' payroll earlier this year.

And lets not mince words, LTG, Nas, Spmack & myself are still "deplorables" in the eyes of Trump & the majority of his undereducated followers & Trump is enabling them.

It's already happening, and is probably past the point of no return now, so I'm not breaking any news to you or anyone else; but you keep making the kind of argument quoted above and you'll eventually cheapen the word "racist" to where it becomes meaningless and often used sarcastically.

LBJ and Nixon. The Social Programs that Republicans now decry actually benefitted blacks. Affirmative Action increased the number of middle class blacks too. Pell Grant programs covered one's entire tuition during this period too. Even Clinton's community reinvestmant grants increased the number of blacks that owned homes.

To some people it is meaningless anyway. There are a number of people that have blinders on when it comes to this stuff. I cant say what is in the Clinton's heart regarding blacks. They may not be fans of African Americans. I cannot point to systemic attempts to deny blacks an opportunity to get ahead in life with them. I can with Trump. That is the problem for me. Trump is a fucked up human being that shits on everyone that allows it. If I did hate the Clintons that would not preclude me from seeing exactly who he is.

Pell Grant programs covered one's entire tuition during this period too. Even Clinton's community reinvestmant grants increased the number of blacks that owned homes.

 Wow Nixon huh?

I can point to more things that he has done to help blacks than i can Obama.
