It would be appropriate if they clinched not because of a win but because of a Cardinal loss.

This is a tired conversation. The Cubs are not the best team in baseball simply because a few NL teams "let" them win.

Anyway, I predict a Cubs sweep actually. Relaxed baseball heading into the playoffs. Cubs win 12 of their remaining 17.
