No, but no surprise that you are confused.

No, that's exactly the point you were making. Except as usual, you clouded it in a bunch of bullshit meaningless terms to obfuscate your point because it was dipshit obvious point.

I quoted another poster. Or did you miss that too?

My point, lost on only you apparently, is that dressing up animals and treating them like they are like us is odd. I stated that much.

I occasionally read what you post. That you find the word "logic" to be be "meaningless" is no surprise either.

I never said the term logic is meaningless. I see you've moved on to just making shit up now. Most of us agree dressing dogs up and treating them like humans is odd. I was responding about dumb statements like "cats don't think" which you then clarified to mean that dogs and cats don't think like humans do, which is a point so obvious I don't even know what you were trying to say in the first place, which is a common issue people have with you here. Perhaps bigfan is not the only one who would benefit from some communications classes.

Because you chose to mis-state it I need communication classes?

I grew up & seemingly always had a cat until I got married. 13 years ago a little mutt came to my house twice 8 months apart. I sent him to the pound twice, but the second time my wife & kids figured that he picked us as his "family", so I had to go get him since his owner didn't a second time.

Now he's 15 yr old ten lb little mutt with bad hips that sleeps on the floor near any sedentary person, or active bbq grill. I really dont like little dogs, but he kinda is family & I hate seeing him in pain. A big fear is that we'll have to put him down...which also means the wife will want a replacement little dog.

Fortunately we just had a problem w/ a little mouse. Tiny thing terrified the wife & briefly had her speaking well of my old (giant) cat. Puts more merit in my "I want a cat" argument. Maybe.

Putting down an animal is such a sad shitty day, but it's better than letting them suffer. I grew up around cats too. They are excellent mousers, and your wife will grow to love it I'm sure. What breed was your old giant cat?

Best kind, Pure alley. Never needed a litter box, would just let you know he had to go out. Killed every bird/mouse in sight & was the scourge of anyone within three blocks who had a cat in heat. Once an old guy walking past my yard while my cat was lounging around watching us drink beer decided to loudly complain & demand I get him fixed. We heartily laughed him away & my cat rolled on his back showing the guy what he thought of the commotion. College summers were great, I usually came in from chasing @3am & so did my carousing cat.

That sounds exactly like a huge tom cat we had growing up. He was practically feral. We lived by, and my dad worked at, a grain elevator with tons of rats and mice. He would go sweep up mice with his arm and torture them. He would also kill gigantic rats and set them on our doorstep.

I was reading something that said that it isn't an offering, its the cat trying to help you out and show you to hunt. They don't see you able to kill a mouse yourself so they assume you are like a baby and need to see what to do.

My daughter explored parts of the yard she'd never been in tonight (some of which was the neighbor's yard). My dog was within inches of her the entire time and ready to fuck up anyone who came close. That may not be logic, but it's definitely loyalty.

He's right. Why would you have your computer situated in a way where you can't see your TV?

I might have to rethink some of your Cub thoughts considering you're probably only "listening" to the game and not watching it when you post.
