joe borchard v2.0? shit wasn't it drew henson or someone who had MLB/NFL aspirations, tried baseball, then went back to the NFL but lost his swag/steez/skills and then kind of flamed out and probably sells insurance or something?

what's m-jeff up to nowadays? he could probably sell a few tickets down in tampa and not be that much worse than whoever they're trotting out @ DH (hence why i figure they might be the ONLY team that could consider a-rod for all of 30 seconds, assuming that they'd welcome his pursuit of 700/714/+ HRs as some kind of a gimmick to sell tickets in a bygone season where you're not really stunting the future too much by "wasting" DH at bats for the rest of august/sept

If they do they're not sending decision makers. He'd be intriguing as a pitcher but a 29 year old hitter who hasn't play in 10+ years has no chance. It's just a waste of time.

Tebow ran a 6.67 60 which is pretty good. There's a great vine of him running like the Oregon Duck mascot but I can't post it from my phone.

man the other day i saw tebow and someone else interviewing nick saban for ESPN's "Sunday Conversation" and when i saw tebow standing there with his creepy-way-too-genuine grin while saban was pontificating i couldn't help but think of a term i heard brandished by the internet's very own Linkara (when describing himself, of course) >>> nasty cock slut.

Image

and then here is a moment where nick saban said something (that didnt seem like a joke) that somehow only tim tebow found to be hilarious. while he went out of his way to SUPER-LOL and then clap his hands, marty smith (to his right) says it all with the look on his face... (you don't get to be where nick saban is without mastering the smile-n-nod)

Image

i know nowadays it's en vogue to shit on bernstein for some of the things/schticks/bits he does, but he was 100% spot-on with the tebow stuff. there's just something ??!!?!?!?!?[keyboard explodes] with him, and i can't quite put my finger on it (call it a hunch he might want you to put your finger IN it tho =)

It's a messed up society where a person who coaches football can afford a house that looks like a resort.

Only two teams passed on sending scouts to the "tryout" -- the Cubs and the A's. Props to Epstein/Hoyer and Beane for avoiding the circus.

Here is his vacation house. It's in Northern Georgia, close to the North Carolina State line.

Considering how often this team’s fans look to the heavens and exclaim, “Jesus Christ!” perhaps we should have seen this coming — the New York Mets have signed Tim Tebow to a minor-league contract, the team announced on Thursday.

* I copied the above from yahoo sports article.

** Thinking you could insert any number of teams into that sentence...including my beloved Cubs!.

This is a good thing for the Mets. The last time Tim Tebow played baseball was in high school.

The year?

2005.

Alabama fans should worry, retirement to that home & part time tv talking head status can't be far off.

And somewhere MJeff's buddies are giving him crap for his puny by comparison first two-three months of swings. Remember the breathless media chase & climax months into the minor league season when big fly #1 (& only iirc) finally happened?

First you attack Trump and then Jordan. If you attack Brees today you hit my trifecta of heroes.

How can you be a person with any sort of social consciousness and have a home like that which you will only use seasonally?

Also, what kind of asshole wouldn't have either a pool or beach in a summer home where money is no expense?
