This is what happens when people think they can cram a paragraph or two of information into 140 characters.

I was alive during the Nixon administration, if that helps.

That said, medically I'm 106.

Nothing more off putting than "you're either with us or against us" politics. Obama said the same thing recently.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised by that. I think he's really nervous Trump might actually win.

Under 40 blacks don't like Hillary or plan on voting. He knows that. They think she is the same as Trump.

Because you were used to him always taking the high ground and being a change agent for all Americans?

Not sure what this means but yeah in general Obama has carried himself pretty well as a President.

Especially considering that MANY congressmen on the other side of the aisle openly stated, from day one, that they would not work with him.

To be fair somewhat to Republicans his response to the question of whether or not he'd work with them was "We won".

They won't even hear Obama's SC nomination, even though it is a guy that MANY republicans said was moderate, and perfectly acceptable. Instead of following the Constitution, they made up some new rule.

Not true. That was his response to questions about meeting them in the middle AFTER he had already negotiated against himself.

Yes, he has. We will be pining for him after he's gone. This narrative that he has somehow been divisive is ignorant.

I think the only reason we may be pining for him is because of the train wreck ready to roll into the white house. I generally liked him while disagreeing with nearly everything he did while in office.  That's a tough line to walk but he managed to do it for me.

Yeah, I'm not sure how he's been "divisive". He's been fine on domestic issues. Saving the auto industry and bailing out the banks was the right thing to do, even if you disagree with some of the details. His foreign policy, however, has been marked by blunder after blunder.

That's what I mean, policy disagreements not withstanding. He has carried himself well, and even most who disagree with him on nearly everything are willing to admit that. Even if it wasn't a shit show rolling into the WH, I think he has generally been a pretty good "face" of the country.

My only minor complaint is that he was a bit too accessible. I don't care if the president does a late night show from time to time but I don't know if I need to see the president filling out a woman's NCAA bracket on TV.

I would agree with that. The one time I got tired of it was March Madness when he's filling out a bracket on ESPN.
