Is this really an issue?

Are Sox fans really bitching about not getting one day passes? and are the Sox really tryting to respond to this in a poltically correct way?

$70! Going to white Sox charities, write it off!

or is this a new profit center to be able to afford big time free agents.

Plus if you read the RULES for Sox Fest, it looks like you are attending a police controlled rally.

These fests are the equivalent of star trek conventions. If you think about it, THEY should be paying the fans to attend.

There are 81 fan conventions every year at the ballpark.

How is this different from the Cubs convention? Just curious.

Because the Cubs convention is generally the high point of the baseball season for them ;)

I like how Bigfan tries to present issues like these as completely objective, impartial observations. As though he does not have an anti-White Sox, anti-Reinsdorf, anti-Kenny Williams, etc. agenda. What a douche.
