It's one fucking game, jimmy. And it doesn't count any more than a 4-3 win. I guess you're ready to send Schwarber down to the minors after yesterday too.

Yep. My predictions that the Cubs would win 100 or more regular season games, win the division and that Kris Bryant would be a top contender for MVP and have more HR's and RBI this season all came true. In addition, the Sox turned out to be pretenders, rather than contenders, as I also predicted. This has been a glorious baseball season. May it end in a World Series title for the Cubs, against the Red Sox. That would be the perfect conclusion, with John Lackey getting the clinching win.

Don't worry. MANY of us Sox fans can separate the obnoxious Cub fans like ES and leash from the real fans like you and JORR.

The heartbreak is coming. And this one will hurt ten times more than '03. This time you knew it was gonna happen. But they're the Cubs.

I gotta say, any comments like "because they're the Cubs" essentially equates to believing in a curse. No rational thought behind it.

And no if they lose it won't be worse than 03 no matter how much you want that to be the case.

It doesn't get harder or worse. The first dissapointment is the worst. I'd say that's true of any fandom and most things in general.

You know as good as 103 wins is, most fans are waiting for something bad to happen.

Anyway, stop bathing in Hatorade and engaging people like Steve

Before the season started, Vegas had the Cubs winning the most games, Kris Bryant as a top MVP candidate, and the Sox as a .500 team. Well done, Captain Obvious.

You also said that the '15 Cubs won more games than they lost against the '15 Mets, Jon Lester won a Cy Young Award, Sale's arm would explode, and that the Cubs should have signed Jordan Zimmerman and Denard Span.

It's not about me wanting anything. I can just see how MANY Cub fans know this is the year. It may not be worse for you, but it will definitely be worse and more painful for MANY when the Theo-built juggernaut fails.

But it's totally worthy of calling in to 6 radio stations today to say the same thing!
