I'm shooting for 5. Hopefully no lines like last year. Won't be surprised to see again cocksucker bars on Clark south of Addison with the nerve to charge cover.

My guys at Sheffield's never with a line and "hidden" from the shitheads.

I might hit Nisei. It tends not to have a shithead crowd. But for a playoff game, who knows? I'm sure every place close will be packed.

No FS1 at home, so I am going to have to find someplace else to watch Game 1. If my dad's retirement complex has it on the big screens in the common areas, I can probably watch it there with him and the rest of the elderly widowers. Otherwise I'm going to have to find a southeast DuPage bar or Willow Springs bar.

I'll be at a work conference for Games 3-4, so that's going to suck because your typical mid-level hotel does not have FS1. And on top of it, I'm going to be in southern California, so I'm going to have to contend with Dodger fans.

Going both Friday and Saturday and hoping the weather forecast is wrong. Went to the clincher (game 4) of the Cubs/ Cards series last year when the weather was gorgeous and everything went right. Also went to game 3 (first game in Wrigley of the series) in the NLCS when it was cold and raining and things went very badly. Cold and wet is a bad combination. But if they are able to play and the Cubs win, it will all be just fine.
