He was probably the most boring guest ever on the show.

This guy gets it.

She's been marketing herself as One Of The Good Ones for some time now, being an atheist and all that. My suspicion, which is even more cynical than the surface-level stuff of ingratiating herself with the media elite by being the acceptable kind of conservative, is that she's setting this all up for her dramatic conversion to an observant Christian who couldn't believe the wool was over her eyes for all these years, at which point she will sell a shitty book to rubes.

S.E. Cupp seems like she failed to hit the big time without an angle so she "became conservative" and the news had her on to be "fair and balanced."

Didn't she get her break on Greg Gutfeld's old show by kicking her legs up on a desk? Was that her? So I think she started off in the Fox News stable of attractive-but-vacuous conservative women, but she didn't develop the "younger, hipper" angle till she got to MSNBC or CNN or wherever she went after Fox -- I dunno, I don't have the S.E. Cupp career timeline memorized, I just know she wound up at a more liberal network and had to reposition herself as a conservative you could find common ground with, i.e. atheism, and when she gets herself bounced from CNN (if she hasn't already) and goes to Fox for a second tour, she'll have her Real Conservative enlightenment. Or she'll go to MSNBC again and become a Woke Twitter soldier with Julie DiCaro. Who knows. It's a hustle. Pretty sure she's a smart girl with rich parents from a good town who wouldn't deign to wipe her asshole with your average CPAC attendee.

Yeah, this show fucking sucks as a matter of course now, but this was a new depth. And we can top it tomorrow night when John Oliver comes on to be like "moving on to Donald Trump, or as I call him, a dick that cums shit."

Stephen Moore is the worst guest. He interrupts everybody who disagrees with him.

Moore was terrible and the chick was obnoxious and annoying as fuck. Two of the worst guests in recent memory. Loved when she tried to use her appearance on an HBO show to signal that black people are doing quite well today. Im pretty sure she would get all self righteously indignant though if you used Obama's election as proof racism is over. Maher can go ahead and throw her in the basket of fucking idiots as well.

Agreed that it was one of the worst shows in awhile.

But that's how all the Hillary people are! "Gay Jews are subject to discrimination and hate crimes on two fronts? Well, that hasn't stopped Bruce Dickman from making it to the board of JPMorganChase, now has it? America is already great!"

That's his thing. When he is next to a female guest, he always tries to grab her arm.

Such transparent establish-your-alpha-male-dominance bullshit. Yeah, you made an ass of yourself on live television, but at least you showed that woman you're in control, I guess.

Angela Rye was an embarrassment. Maybe that's how she really acts, but it seemed like she is playing a Real Housewives character for television.

There was a moment that was entertaining: Maher call Kaepernick a fucking idiot. Rye objected before agreeing with him. Hilary love beat out BLM loyalty in this case at least. The show is like the rest of the media now. We get it. Trump is awful. But it has become so over the top that all of Hilary's flaws are now brushed away.

I guess it's normal in a healthy democracy for the President's wife to just take over a few years down the line.

IF Hilary were on the opposite side, you think he would be cheering for her?

If Bill Maher really thinks Clinton is far more liberal than Gary Johnson, he's dumber than I thought.

By modern standards, Johnson is only Conservative from an economic perspective. Contemporary Conservatism does not mean small government.

Let's say color, since Hilary is a Republican IMO. If Hilary were Red instead of Blue, would Bill be lobbying for her? My answer is no.

Maher tries to portray himself as some sort of political outsider, but his big claim to fame there was voting for Nader in 2000 and at one point saying he was Libertarian. Ever since GW Bush, Maher is a basically a mainstream Democrat. So I think he would go for anyone his team nominated.

But he is still viewed as a rebel for some reason. Maher is about the only person who can get away with calling Kaepernick an idiot without people going crazy. He gets a pass for being edgy or something.

Maher's only renegade stance these days is shitting on Islam when most people won't. His fealty to Obama, where any slight criticism elicits "YOU JUST DON'T LIKE HIM BECAUSE HE'S BLACK," preempts any sort of rebel status.

I think there is less of a filter with his show. I have more liberal views than conservative, but in no was am I blinded by them. I am tired of his 2 vs 1 which turns into 3 or even 4 vs 1. Have multiple views points. A conservative, SJW, liberal and libertarian. And stop with the 4th guest disruption. Jesus Christ!

Actually, the breakdown of the panel is usually establishment liberal, lunatic-fringe conservative, and a conservative who disowns his/her party to ingratiate himself/herself with Bill (S.E. Cupp, Michael Steele, Andrew Sullivan, Betsy Woodruff, etc, etc, etc): lots of "look, I'm a Republican, BUT" or "well, actually, I identify as a libertarian."

I think he does a decent job getting conservatives on. I am sure that the majority do not want to go on his show. Considering where the Republican party is right now, it's pretty difficult to have someone who supports the party. It takes a true believer like Moore to religiously follow Republican dogma no matter what.
