Because he has no say in anything.

Even when Kenny is gone Hahn won't be held responsible.

It's kind of weird how Bulls fans always seem to blame the GM in name far more than Paxson when it's the complete opposite for Sox fans. Personally I wouldn't mind all 4 of them pissing off.

because his boss said he hadn't yet graduated to the level of making decisions

Imagine being named GM and continuing to serve under someone who says that

Well Jed basically gets no credit or blame too. It's because Theo and Kenny are always talking to the media and acting like they are in control. Jed is basically an errand boy. So is Hahn.

that's blatantly untrue.

the progress in the minor league system, trades for Shark and Frazier were hailed as genius Hahn moves.

when the Shark trade "blew up" the blame was shifted to it being Kenny's idea.

tim anderson is being hailed as the first step of a new era of white sox player development. isn't he the prototypical kenny player? why is anderson's success being allocated to hahn?

jed gets neither credit nor blame. however white sox fans are quick to praise hahn when positive outcomes occur and blame kenny for poor outcomes.

This is wrong.

Bulls fans HATE both Gar Forman and John Paxson. When the Bulls livestreamed last week's press conference...it was extremely evident.

That being said, I don't think Rick Hahn deserves to be shit on. Just knowing Reinsdorf and Kenny...you know that Rick Hahn was not in control.

He deserves a chance to be in charge of an organization's baseball operations.

ha, i'm always confused why people feel bad for hahn. he was welcome to interview with other organizations for their GM position. he wasn't an outsider to the White Sox organization. he knew it's dysfunctional nature. his acceptance of the GM position meant he was OK with the structure.

he's no doubt taken advantage by whispering all failures are property of Kenny's decision-making and all successes are his.

The second part of this post is probably false speculation. Nothing really out there to support it.

I do want Hahn gone though, and the idea that he hasn't gotten a fair shake is absurd. He's been the GM for four years. At this point, whether Kenny or Hahn was actually making the decisions is irrelevant. If Kenny has been calling the shots this whole time, than Hahn is a dickless yes man who clearly doesn't have the temperament to build a team. If Hahn has been calling the shots, then he gave us a shit team three years in a row with no signs of future success. Regardless of which is true, he has to be fired for this team to regain any sense of credibility.

It's true that lots of fans hate both, but I definitely think Gar gets a lot more of the flack. And in part that may be because Gar has far more of a record behaving like an ass in public. I'd say there was at least some part of the Bulls fanbase who wanted Gar to go back to being the main GM and held him less accountable for the bad moves of the last few years.

Is the press conference being held in a courtroom?
