If we're including our own, I've got five.

Same best man?

Yep. Same best man both times.

I was best man and the officiant for my buddy's two weddings. Either he thought I was bad luck for the first one, or he became closer with his brother over those few years in between

I've known him since we were knee-high, and I'll always consider him a "friend," but the number of weddings he's been in is due to his clinginess.

That's a lot of money spent.

It is. I'm not married and I feel like I could have paid for a small wedding for myself. That guy could have paid for a HUUUGE wedding.

Yeah, and it's a lot worse for girls. I think complaining about how much it costs to be a bridesmaid is part of the pageantry.

I stood up in a Catholic wedding where the best man and one other groomsman were Jewish. It was a full mass. The best man and I have known each other since were were in fourth grade. He was in the pew next to me during the mass. I could sense he was getting nervous as the priest prepared the host. He leaned over and whispered to me, "Am I gonna have to eat that biscuit?" I laughed out loud and garnered a few dirty looks.

My wife was a bridesmaid for a wedding out of town this year and we spent more on that wedding than our own.

Stood-up 5. And there is another on the way soon. I think guys end up paying about as much for Tux's these days. Weddings might be the greatest price gouging event of all time. If you order flowers it's a 50 percent markdown from wedding flowers.

3 (twice for the same guy)
2 best man (I guess I fell down in his friend rankings)

The rest of my friends just aren't the marrying type. One of my friends has been with the same girl for 10 plus years.

How many of you have been able to hook up with women at weddings? Light 'em up!

I did once. At a wedding in Cleveland in 1999.

Once

2010 - at the wedding of a co-worker. Hooked up with the groom's sister.

If you think full Catholic weddings are bad you should attend a bunch of them in a different language. Even with that attendance I am no fan of them.

Before the wedding but never the day of. It's kind of hard to hook up with someone when you have a date.

I have no siblings or first or second cousins so any time an old family member dies it's usually up to me and whichever friends of mine came to the funeral to do the deed.
