Since competing is more important to Cub fans than winning the World Series and Sox fans would prefer that the Cubs did not win the World Series, the Cubs can just spend the month continuing to play these simulated games where the fans can watch all of their players compete on the same field all at the same time.

On November 1st the Cubs could have a big parade ending with Mark Prior and Kerry Wood handing out the towel throwing championship trophy
