I really wished they would do the Old Man Logan story.

That could be great, but I'm sure they'd have trouble with the licensing of other Marvel characters. Especially Hulk.

Nooooooooo. In Marvel Chas is 100% team Avengers/Ultimates.

I would like that too, but the licensing is impossible at the moment. Apparently, this film is in the spirit of Old Man Logan, mainly just that it's an aged Wolverine. I'm just glad Fox finally had the balls to go with an R rating. Which would not have happened if Deadpool flopped.

The RR Green Lantern Film should be erased from all forms of memory. The only thing that could have been worse is if they went with their original idea of casting Jack Black. He was all types of wrong for Hal,I would have cast David Boreanes or Jon Hamm.

So you like $200 million dollar slap fights in abandoned airports, and more Disney one liners than actual dialogue?

I liked Civil War, but I'm still taking Deadpool as the best comic book movie this year.

enough already with Wolverine. they've had enough chances.

"deadpool" was a hoot but that's about it. "civil war" was a bit overstuffed. "winter soldier" is still the best.

Well you're gonna get this film, and then maybe a cameo in Deadpool 2 and that's it for Huge Jackedman.

I'm all in. More action movies need a hard R. Deadpool showed it could be done. The latest terminator and last two die hards show what a shit show PG13 can be. Although I did like Genisys. Shame the trailer ruined the twist

I agree, Genysis wasn't that bad, but could have really benefitted from an R rating.

Wolverine is one of the most violent characters in comics along with Deadpool. I'm confident they can pull off this 3rd wolverine film.

Seconded. How do you have a man with blades coming out of his arms and nary a severed hand or arm visible. Honestly the 360 game version of origins was superior. The opening you jump out of a helicopter sans chute and fall on a guy. Then climb out of a pit of gore and heal your wounds.

Like others said, Old Man Logan would be a great arc to adapt.

The Wolverine was pretty decent, felt solid and well paced. Good action and it made, mostly, sense. I have high hopes for Logan, Old Man Logan is a great story line and it saved Wolverine from the SJW burrito assault.

Also, Joss Wheeeedon sucks and the Avengers movies aren't as good as they could be due to him. Civil war was Avengers 3 and was nested by Winter Soldier. In the Marvel movie universe I have to say that Captain America is tops followed by the first two "new" XMen movies, Deadpool amd the Netflix stuff.

"guardians of the galaxy" isn't comparable to "winter soldier". it's more comparable to "the avengers", since it's an ensemble film. "guardians of the galaxy" was great, but it was great because of the combination of characters.

i would hope third time's a charm with wolverine's stand-alone movies but they always seem underwritten and over produced.

I can agree with the comparison. For me, Spiderman with Tobey Maguire was and is the best film.

Agreed with the Wolvy films. I hope to go he puts the yellow suit on, that was teased in the last film.

"spider-man 2" was the strongest of the tobey era, but the first one was a solid origin movie. one of the few that nailed it. but at the time, there wasn't a swath of superhero movies to be compared to. it was a breath of fresh air...the CGI was just a little wonky.

All of the Spiderman movies sucked. Originals and reboot.

All of the original X-Men movies sucked.

The first Wolverine movie was an abortion on the big screen, the 2nd one wasn't much better.

Whoever green-lighted the Ghost Rider movies should be hung from the Hollywood sign.

Wolverine/Logan director explaining the difference between this film and most comic book films. Also, a page of the actual script is shown.
