Huh? It's on FS1

EDIT: Nevermind. You meant the song won't be on TV.

45 minutes before gametime someone will start a Cubs/Giants thread ... hopefully a number of streaming options will then be posted. In general if you're not running Privacy Badger & uBlock Origin addons for your browser, you're not doing it right ... but especially so when it comes to streaming. I've never had problems (malware wise I mean) with them at home or at work ... I can't believe they work at work, but they do - some of them anyway. Don't expect perfect video or audio ... it's better than nothing.

Don't ask me which ones are working though b/c I have FS1 and MLBTV. :D

I like the lineup better when it's 2) Zobrist 3) Bryant 4) Rizzo

I think I've mentioned this before, and I'm not saying that I buy into it, but there is a school of thought that with Bryant and Rizzo in the 2/3 hole, you force the starter to face your two best hitters in the first inning.

Just for consumption.

So much for the Wisemen being able to monetize.

I think JORR's at this game. How many people around him do you think he's already accused of not being real fans?

If you're not, then eat me.

I have reason to believe they have interest in attempts to grow this website and make it self-sustaining.

So ... let's say the Dodgers/Nationals game goes long enough, extra innings or not, that it bleeds into the Cubs' start time ... do they shift the game temporarily to another channel or is it a "tough titty" situation (e.g., they'll switch over to it when the other game is over)?

See, that's the problem with what MLB is stupidly doing. You've got the game on some half-assed channel to begin with, then you cram three other games so they're all back-to-back-to-back-to-back on same said channel which is really dumb considering there's no game clock and any real deviation from a "normal" (whatever the hell that means) 9-inning affair for any reason - weather, injury, close game, the return of Morgana the Kissing Bandit - then a lot of folks won't know what's going on, where to watch the game, or whether to shit or go blind.

In the SF and Chicago markets they would switch to the Cubs game.

It is one of the most infuriating things in sports. Just get my goddamn team on the TV. Is it so hard to schedule these things with an extra half hour in between?

Yeah, but it doesn't work well. There are Cub fans as close as central Illinois who have a different local affiliate. It's bullshit.

Baseball undoubtedly has the worst analysts, and I'm not sure why.

Hockey's are worse, and largely for the same reason, that being a fear of betraying the players' fraternity by saying anything other than nice things.

Bags and funny cars aren't sports.

I can play baseball, golf and tennis. I can also shoot 100 threes without dying.
