at one point later in the game i had some kind of hallucination cuz i swear i saw madison bumgarner in the bullpen warming up for the giants around the 7th/8th. i'd never put it past him/them cuz they might need bumgarner to get ~20 innings in this series to have a chance (assuming that the cubs pitching pitches like they did in the regular season)
