I loved the setup and the explanation of why he was doing what he was doing. Simple and it made complete sense, very well written.

I thought the scene when those guys stole his sweet whip and they go bring it to John Leh, Lig, Legumo...fuck it, whatever that Mexicans name is, and he goes nuts on them.

Agreed, the whole mystique of the John Wick character was a simple, great way to add depth to the story line.

Alfie Allen was great too, such a bratty, entitled punk. Played it perfectly.

They opened up a whole world of assassins, and touched on it's background very little. They could go a lot of places in this film.

Let's put it like this Jimmy, when people hear the name Jack Reacher there like, "That asshole again? He's such a pain in the ass. I'll probably get beat up and go to jail."

When people hear the name John Wick they immediately fortify themselves with every bodyguard, hit man, and available firearm.

It's really not even close.
