312 actually makes a good point. If Hoyer leads them to victory, it means less Cutler. Go Bears!

Cutler just wouldn't be making these throws. Cutty has more arm talent than Hoyer, no argument, but Cutty just doesn't make solid decisions after the snap like this.

I wonder how many folks that called Cutler a pussy (more or less), in spite of being beaten into the ground time and time again and generally getting right back up, will talk about how tough Andrew Luck is for taking a beating behind that line.

Doesn't even have to be a Bear issue. How many people who still evaluate most quarterbacks by wins and losses on teams clearly lacking talent will nevertheless talk about the Golden Boy needing help? How many people who are quick to blame Cam and RG3 for their injuries will praise Luck for his courage when he holds onto the ball too long and gets nailed?

Even better.

I don't even think he has more "arm talent" Cutty deep ball sucks, his pocket presence blows and his leadership is garbage.

The only people who would likely disagree that Hoyer is just as good as Cutler are hosts at the Score. That's because they've been saying it for so long as an "anti-meatball" stance that they don't even evaluate its validity anymore. It's an automatic "DERP DERP BENCH CUTLER! BRING BACK MCGOWAN!"

Don't worry. Cutler will be back next week. We'll maintain our 3-13 trajectory, and all will be well.

what kills me is if we had a normal kicker we would have won!

2:30 to get a TD now. but we shouldnt have been in this position.

False. It does, however, help to illustrate the futility of Jay Cutler. So I'm all in.

After this game, make no mistake: the Bears are back. Granted, they're also 1-4, three back of the Vikings, and would have to go 7-4 to finish at least even, but the future is bright in this league where one year scarcely seems to carry over into the next. There's a lot to be excited about in almost beating a mediocre AFC South team but ultimately not. Cubs a win away from the NLCS? That little boat is no match for the Hoyer Destroyer. This is a Bears town, baby.
