5 games in we are 1-4. Looking at the remaining schedule how many wins do you see the Bears ending the season with?

10/16 vs. Jags

10/20 @ Packers (Thursday)

10/31 vs. Vikings (Monday)

11/13 @ Bucs

11/20 @ Giants

11/27 vs. Titans

12/4 vs. 49ers

12/11 @ Lions

12/18 vs. Packers

12/24 vs. Redskins (Saturday)

1/1 @ Vikings

Injury bugs aside for all teams, the Titans, 49ers, and maybe the Jags are the only wins I'm confident the Bears can get.

Bucs don't look good, but they pass the ball more than anyone else. Passing on the Bears secondary is... Well.... Yeah.

Same feeling with the Giants air attack, and Stafford at home. Redskins too.

I don't see the Bears beating the Pack or Vikings this season.

The jags are a mess, so yeah I wouldn't be surprised to see them top out at 4.

2-3 more wins most likely.

Let's say the Bears end up with 3 wins, and a few embarrassing losses. Emery/Trestman were 8-8 and 5-11, fired after two years. Pace/Fox would be 6-10 and 3-13. What would be the case for not launching them? Injuries? Vikings don't seem to have a problem.

The case would en they are cleaning up the Emery mess. Not sure I agree but that would be the reason.

5-11

Even bad football teams win a few games that they shouldn't.

They win against Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, New York, and San Francisco. With an 11-21 record, John Fox "retires" due to health concerns and not-giving-a-fuck-about-seeing-this-turtle-derby-through-to-completion concerns. Pace stays on and hires some Sean Payton underling from New Orleans.

The polling is kind of what I expected, albeit the 5-7 range is a little bit higher than I first thought it would be.

Worst case for me is the 5-11 scenario Chus predicted. That most likely lands the Bears between 6-8 in the draft.

I'm fairly confident 4 wins can at least get us in the top 5 which I can almost guarantee gives us a shot at one of the top QBs or Peppers.

Anything under 4 wins is welcomed by me, but I just don't see it. The Bears schedule is so soft. The AFC South is and always will be a joke.

I was trying to research win total in relation to average draft slot, and couldn't find anything yesterday. Any help would be welcome.

Agreed, but I am starting to wonder how much more of this shitshow Fox can take.

Jay Cutler is going to ruin this for all of us.

They're 0-3 against the AFC South.

Very well could be 0-4 on 11/27 with the way the Titans are playing lately.

Looking at the last 3 drafts, it looks like 2 wins assures you're the top overall pick, 3 wins assures a pick in the top 2, and 4 wins should put you in the top 6.

Unless they really suck it up against the likes of the Titans and 49ers, last night's win virtually assures that they'll need the Browns, they'll need help to be in the top 4 picks.

The 49ers are as much of a mess as the Bears, so I think smart money is on 3 wins this season after the news Matt Barkley will probably be option #1 at QB the rest of 2016.

They're gonna lose out. With all the injures and suspensions the Bears are probably worse than the Browns from a roster standpoint rest-of-season.
