he came up with the Astros with a lot of hype. Next big star etc.... what happened over there? Giants were the perfect fit for him.

welp, by my calculations the cubs should have just gotten some momentum back from going through the heart of their order and making them go out as easily/weakly/meekly as the cubs have for the last 3 innings.

obviously a HR would be epic, but i'm thinking you just need to get somebody on base (preferably 2nd) and then start turning the screws on them like hey, you know ,they're facing elimination with the best team in baseball REFUSING TO DIE and all that. the script had them winning their 11th game facing elimination in a row.... BUT KRIS BRYANT SAID NO!

seriously cubs, put them in camel clutch break their backs and make them humble. or just get on via some incredibly stupid cheeky means and fuck with them on the basepaths. something.

do a double steal.... even if they throw you out at third you've still got a RISP... greater chance that posey goes OH SHIT and fucks up a throw or something. if you succeed the sac fly can give you the lead. you're afforded such luxuries when you're up 2-0

also keeps you out of the inning ending double play.... assumign you dont try this with 2 strikes
