Why don't the Giants have their names on the back?

Can't blame Montgomery. He did everthing he could.

This offense is pathetic though and Rizzo is a fraud.

Giants will win this series. They're real Champions.

Let's hope Lackey is up to the task tomorrow.

This needs to end in 4.

Giants are in the Cubs' heads now. The Cubs can't recover from this. They used it all up on this game and lost. Like I said, the Giants have a winning mentality, the Cubs a losing one. They'll never escape who they are no matter what Dan Bernstein says.

Trying to be old-school like the Yankees and Red Sox.

No seriously I'm asking you because it's a bit fuzzy to me...

that was the tradition, starting in the 60s. no names on home jerseys since your fans know you. cubs didn't have them until the 90s, i think.

The names on the back are another Bill Veeck invention. Nobody had them until the White Sox in 1960. Some of the old time teams (Yankees, Red Sox, Giants) kept the classic look without the names.

No more with the mixing and matching late in games.

Maddon knows that Rondon and Chapman like to start innings. Was wrong to have Wood start the 8th.

I regret nothing about going to bed when I said. I'm not sure what's keeping me from climbing back into it though.

So they're not going to win eleven in a row; m'eh. That can be next year's secondary championship repeat goal.

At least tonight's game starts at 7:30, so that's nice.

From the late night? A little tired but good.

From the game? Annoyed and antsy. Like Kirkwood, I'm ready for Game 4 to start now.

Yeah I meant the night. After getting up I read the game log/thread. It was funny.
