Looks like he will be the biggest loser of this whole election.

To think of all the horrible decisions made by Bush kids* and he is the one who finally gets fired for it.

*-I know he is a cousin.

Sorta reminds me of when I was hoping Spiegel would get fired for seconding Bernstein's boobs tweet.

Yeah. I admittedly used to side more on the idea that people that act like this deserve what they get but it seems like we are entering an age where anyone can cry and get people fired for just about anything.

My facebook feed is filled with women saying that "I'VE TALKED AT CONFERENCES WITH 90% MEN AND I'VE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BAD EVER! THIS IS NOT OK".

Yes, that AND Bush didn't really say anything that bad, right? He was just laughing?

He deserves it. I don't think anyone would have a problem with him being fired if he dropped audio of Bill Clinton doing something similar.

That's the thing about people who are supposed to be quasi-journalists. Off the record info or off mic conversation is not fair game to be shared with the public. Once you violate that kind of stuff it's only a matter of time before no one will want to talk to you because they can't trust you.

I guess he should be glad for his bonus earning years while the power brokers sat on the video.

He isn't getting fired for sharing the tape.

Even what Trump said, while vulgar, was just shit-talking in a private conversation. (I know there are women out there who say he actually acted this stuff out and I have no trouble believing that, but lewd talk is just that, talk.) There are a lot of things that disqualify this guy from being president, but that idiot conversation isn't one of them. If it did, I would suggest it's quite likely that the only two presidents fit for office were McKinley and Carter.

It only reinforced for me that he is a total douchebag, which we already knew. But I can at least appreciate that the outrage at him is directed at someone running for president. What the hell does it matter to the general public if some turd reporter says bad things (and he actually didn't even do that)?

The whole episode created a soft landing to people who have wanted to jump off this trainwreck campaign without being chided for party disloyalty. It was timed to maximum effect, as it also leaked on the same day as a wikileaks dump.

This is a pretty big conspiracy just to get Billy Bush off the Today show.

For some reason I was under the impression that Bush released the tape. Whoever was in charge should have destroyed the tape if they weren't using it for the show. It's unethical to release a tape like that.

Unethical is kind of the soup du jour for the last year or so.

Screw Billy Bush, this is just karma kicking him in the ass for his part in the Ryan Lochte railroad job.

Nomination denied.
