If Rizzo continues to struggle and Bryant continues to hit, if the right situation arises do you think Bryant will be intentionally walked?

Uhhh, I said exactly that. Check the FB discussion you're a part of. I was talking about how Montgomery would be used and effective for four innings when he came in. (And said this before he even faced his first batter.) A few people thought that was excessive and disagreed with me.

Not to pull an Elmhurst Steve...but I was correct about the outfield alignment being an issue...and I was correct about the bullpen stuff.

I don't know what kind of baseball fan you think you are, but I consider myself an expert when it comes to the game. You can list off some more players that played in the 1950's then I can...but when it comes to the game between the lines... I'll take myself over anyone not involved in MLB...and probably before a few of those guys as well.

Yeah right. Not touching anyone. Can you explain why it's dumb? I think it's something that needs to be planned for.

I'm not going to believe it's going to happen until it happens. When it becomes a strategy is when you need to do something about it.

Idiot. I've claimed the exact opposite. Over the course of a season, Maddon and other tenured managers will make more good moves than I do. You, however, believe that I am just as smart as any MLB manager since you believe managers do not matter, and that moves have no affect on a game.

But to think that every single person involved in MLB is smarter than every single hardcore fan...that is asinine.
