plenty of love but the ones i listed are my go-to's. and i was thinking of including movies like "in country" and "born on the 4th of july" because they're both great, but i think of those as "war at home" movies.

This man knows his war movies! I'm kind of limited currently by what a 4th grader can watch though.

Loved Das Boot
Jarhead sucked
Never saw mash ( TV show sucked dick)
Three kings was gay
Never saw casualty of war or hurt locker or glory
Platoon was decent
Never saw bridge over river kwai or midnight clear or quiet on western front or longest day.

Deer hunter was decent.

4th Grade?

He's ready for Saving Private Ryan or Inglorious Basterds.

Not really a war movie, but "Heartbreak Ridge" has some great dialogue and Mario Van Peebles is tremendous.

Language definitely not suitable for Hatchetman's spawn.

SWEDE! SWEDE! SWEDE!

It's a war movie. Gunny Highway secures Grenada.

What about Full Metal Jacket?

One I have always enjoyed but many disliked when it came out was The Thin Red Line. Great cast, beautifully shot, and a haunting soundtrack.

The difference between Hot Shots Part Dukes and Tropic Thunder is like the difference between a shitburger and God.

Great scene at the bar with him rockin' and rollin' while a disgusted Clint Eastwood looks on.

How I would love to be that guitar.

Kicking myself now, because I consider Tropic Thunder one of the best R rated comedies I've ever seen.
