I hate to say it but this series feels like its over. I have no faith the Cubs offense can do anything...

Won't matter if they advance or not.

They will get crushed in the next round with this hapless ass hitting.

They don't need to do much. Just get Lester one run in game 5. He'll take it from there, unlike the rest of this weak ass overhyped staff.

2 hits thru 5, one by old man retiring Ross. Meanwhile, bullpen being burned up. Lester's gonna have to go the distance.

The Somali Pirate is pitching game 5 in case anyone forgot who he was. He shoved it up everyones ass except Baez on one stupid quick pitch.

Honest to god. This fucking Giants lineup is trash and they are grinding out at bats all series against the Cubs. They should be embarrassed.

This is crushing. It never fails.

They are leading the series and have home field advantage. If the Giants should hold on to take this game (their bullpen is not great) all that will have happened, is that each team will have held serve. With the Cubs having game 5 (if needed) at home, they will have every opportunity to finish this off at home. Nothing crushing has happened at all.

holy balls a leadoff batter reached. Too bad they are down a million runs with Bryant and then a pile of shit following him until Baez bats in 2 innings.

We still do not know if there will be a game 5 and if there is, Jon Lester would again pitch for the Cubs and he was even better in game 1 of the series.

the catcher's telling the pitcher: "just keep throwing curveballs, whether you can or not. they'll swing at all of them."

It is. Pressure's all on the Cubs in game 5. It's over.

Rizzo is grounding into a DP. First pitch.

Not surprising. Fowler has always been a horrible baserunner.

We knew this inning was our last chance and Fowler blew it.

Hope he's gone next year. Horrible baseball player.

The pressure has exceeded the pleasure. Last year we rightfully blamed a great Mets pitching staff. This year a horrid Giants bullpen has silenced them. Any more runs and I'm going to bed.

It was but better to be safe at 2 when he was going to be out at 1 anyway.
