This is the team... I dont know what you do for next year. If the heart of your core doesnt hit in the playoffs, its going to be a frustrating run with these guys. Does Babe make a difference enough? I doubt it.

They should trade for Gillaspie. He's got like 27 hits this postseason.

Well every asshole that was on twitter last night saying "relax, it's 1 game" can kiss my ass. This team is choking so bad, it's really sad and hard to watch. 2 fucking hits tonight against a average pitcher. Theo's big 3 free agents he got, specifically for the playoffs have done nothing. Heyward and Zobrist have been bad, and the fucking horse faced hillbilly gave you 4 innings after saying he's here for the big games. They fall behind on Thursday, and everyone of them should be booed when they come to bat, or get taken out pitching wise. They are on the verge of taking a step back. The 100+ wins won't mean shit.

Yeah. In the MLB playoffs nobody should say a loss is no big deal. Especially in a 5 game series. Game 3 stings.

How sad is it that Bryant/Rizzo/Zobrist/Russell are the 9th inning and I'm not remotely excited...

Too much money owed for anyone to trade for that pile of crap. 184 million dollar deal. Gotta hope he takes up speed boating in South Beach in the off season.

BTW, was that you calling into Kap and Co. today?

Sure was

  He was off the rails TODAY. Can't imagine what he'll be tomorrow.

I think he will have a similar attitude that I have (assuming the Giants hold on here tonight), which is that each team has held serve and now the Cubs get to play the deciding game at Wrigley field, where they enjoyed the best home record in Baseball in 2016. that it has been a great series, but there is every reason to feel good about the Cubs chances on Thursday. Yes, he wasoff the rails and I loved it. great show.

Bryant Rizzo and Zobrist, these are the guys you'd want up there if you want a rally.
