I just realized the Second City/Toronto comedy connection last night looking at Bill Murray in the stands going bananas. Though a Cleveland/Chicago matchup would be a natural, what do you think about Akroyd and company vs. Murray and Company?

The Old Baseball Gods are dead.

They have been replaced by Bryant, Baez, and Lester.

Either Gilbert Gottfried or Norm MacDonald. All other answers are criminally wrong.

I was presuming you meant off the show, not on. If the latter is the case, then that would be an odd choice, yes. Otherwise I stand by my picks.

Funniest broad ever on that show is Jane Curtin.

Eddie and Piscopo were gifted guys, and everybody except Garrett Morris had their moments. Belushi and Farley were too one dimensional. Hartman, good as he was, was not naturally funny.

So my choice (even tho' he had but one season) has to be B.C.

Thoughts like that are why you 'live' in St. Louis.

I agree with SLBM... Billy Crystal is hilarious.

Anybody catch his 700 Sundays Broadway thing on HBO?

Terrific.

It would actually be nice to have 4 games in a dome so we don't have to watch baseball in cold weather. I think the dome would benefit the Cubs as they have the better offense over the Jays.

But Indians and Cubs would be cool because the Indians have the 2nd longest World Series drought.

Either way, the Cubs would be at least 160 favorites over both the Indians or Blue Jays.

For those that don't know, it means you'd have to bet 160 to win 100 if you took the Cubs for the series.

Cleveland would be a lot easier for both the commute and getting tickets at a better rate there. So should the Cubs win the pennant, I am hoping they will play Cleveland. Wanted Boston, but that unfortunately didn't work out. That would have been a cool deal for Theo.
