I agree; it was a terrible comment. But I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe that he would take it back if he could. But producers should have realized right away that should never see the light of day and decided to "stop it right there" and do it over.

It's Canada Dry humor. He was in one of the greatest episodes of TV ever (teamed with Jesse Ventura) on the X-Files with a nerd as a main character, he knows losers.
