I have a soft spot for Judge Judy. She looks & sounds exactly like my favorite professor in college. In addition to being a good teacher, she relished giving the proudly stupid the business on a regular basis.

Love me some court shows. People's Court (with Judge Marilyn Milian), Judge Mathis, and Judge Judy, in that order. I think it's the People's Court that plants hot women right behind the plaintiffs/defendants. I usually find myself being distracted by them the entire time.

Been home injured all week and watching Judge Mathis... they had a throwback from 2000 -- looked much younger then. Love the way he rips into people and pokes fun at them when they are clearly trying to pull the wool over his eyes. There was one about a Mexican guy who had his kids kidnapped and wanted $50k for them back and he said he couldn't afford it and the kidnappers said OK well do it for 5... and Mathis was like "$500 for kids?!?" and then starts ripping in on the kids and then catches himself and says "You got the kids back, right? (nod) OK, so it is ok if we have a little fun with it now, alright, ok."

I know you will give me a giant "We're happy for you" I attended a taping of the Judge Mathis Show and let's just say the people that go on that show are....interesting

I assumed all those Judge shows were fake.
