Unconsciously, people do this frequently. More attractive kids receive better treatment from teachers and parents. (Those studies are not perfect, of course.) I don't think that is the same as sexualizing the kids, as Schilling seems to do, or come close to doing, though....

A guy I worked with at a school used to talk about these three sisters, aged 10, 11, and 12. He mentioned (several times) how the oldest won "didn't win the genetic lottery" and how the younger two were going to be "stunning." Then he mentioned the body of the girls' mother....it was really weird, and if you pressed him on it, he'd say, "Hey, I'm just sayin'."
