So you figure Kershaw goes in game 2 and thus would be available for GAME 6. But maybe if the Dodgers had a 3-2 lead they would save him for a GAME 7 with extra rest.

the cubs are obviously the better team and should win this in 5-6 games (even with kershaw in there for a game or two. the key stat is that in the 7th inning or later of the postseason he has something like a 28.63 ERA (b4 his 2 outs last night) so in theory if you can either get him out of the game b4 that or even if you can keep him in there when he's gassed...) man oh man you gotta have some clutch hitting & TWTW like your name is joe crede, you know what i'm saying? something something "clutch gene" - skip bayless something something.

of course, being that this is the cubs and them getting into the NLCS is usually a happening of biblical proportions, you just figure that it'll probably find a way to go 7 games one way or another (whether it's the cubs up 3-1/3-2 b4 "oh no here we go again" or it's "oh no here we go again" with the cubs down 1-3 or 2-3 in the series and having to fight back) --- idk if i can sit here and pick the cubs to advance because THEY'RE THE FUCKING CUBS FFS and you know "the curse" is actually applied here, since it covers the cubs GETTING to a world series..... but then again idk if i can really pick against the cubs because they're the better team offensively, pitching-wise, and likely defensively too. they definitely SHOULD advance to what you figure is a very winnable world series.

so uhhhh yeah... meteor to wipe out all life on earth in 6 or 7. maybe jesus returns and the rapture starts? godzilla rises up from lake michigan? idk. it's just technically hard to pick for or against the cubs in the NLCS when they're this good/proper/deserving.
