kershaw tends to be solid/pretty-good but definitely not 100%-proper-kershaw when he pitches on the postseason (which always ends up being on short rest cuz the dodgers never end up in good sitautions and always need him to try and bail their ass out) and then b4 those 2 outs in the 9th in game 5 NLDS his postseason era in the 7th inning/+ = 28.63--- that props up my theory that kershaw runs out of gas by the time the postseason comes around.

this year he got a couple'a months off from the season due to a bad back, so he might be a bit fresher. still, the way the dodgers always end up i doubt we'll ever really get a chance to see kershaw on proper rest in the postseason.

Davey Martinez putting the fielders where he did each at bat saved Lester from getting yanked a lot sooner, because what I saw was a lot of hard contact followed by a superior defensive play OR like, say, the one where Rizzo was closer to second than first was right there to gobble it up.

Enough of that stupidity ... the only thing that matters is they won ... as a team ... top to bottom.

But we've seen this before ... and then some ... one win away with three games to go ... five outs away with a game to spare ... when we get to four outs away, then we're looking at something new ... but I have every expectation that's what will happen ... and then some.
