Nope. It was suppose to be an ABC game originally but ABC said the hell with the Bulls. ABC switched to Boston/Orlando.

The Bulls decided not to change the time so you can't have local NBA TV against ABC's game of the week.

I hate the exclusive rights that ABC has, but even more, I hate that the Bulls apparently could have moved the game back to 5:00 PM...sucks. Phoenix is a fun team to watch.

What's even more irritating is that apparently the Suns have local TV coverage...but can't get it here "locally not available" :x

How is that possible given the ABC Exclusive rights ?

It's probably not being shown live on ABC since the Celtics game started at 10 or 11 AM local.

If you have Directv, it's on ch. 649....

I kinda assumed it was the same thing as FOX's Saturday MLB coverage, in that everything else being shown at that time was blacked out except for your local teams..I recall a few Sox and Cubs game being on at noon on WGN or CSN that were shown in the same window as Fox's coverage...apparently it's not the same case here

No. That wasn't the case for Fox. What Fox would do is shedule 3 regional games. So you would get the game in your region. There would be no other games scheduled but FOX games in that time period. Since they have 3 games there is no reason to change a game. If your team wasn't one of the 3 regional games then FOX would give you the best match up they had that day.

At the start of the season ABC only shedules one game in their Sunday slot but they have the right to change it. The home team that gets bumped can change the time if they choose. I don't know how much of a warning ABC gave the Bulls. I assume it was over a week where the Bulls knew of the change.

What FOX changed last year was their start times. It used to be 12:00(Chicago time) games by FOX. They went to 3pm games last year. So you could have local television if you started your games at Noon or if you started your games after 6pm. But only FOX games were sheduled at 3pm.

Right, that's what I was saying. That channel is Fox Sports ARIZONA, so the Suns do have local coverage.

And Beardown, that's not true that only Fox regional games were scheduled on Saturday afternoon. Plenty of teams like the Cubs had noon start times when the Fox game was at 2:30. THe Blue Jays too, they often have noon starts. It wasn't all that unusual. And those Blue Jays games were blacked out for me (I have Extra Innings package) but the Cubs games were viewable on CSN or WGN or whatever. It's just the local games you have access to, not the out of market games. Which is why it's surprising to me that the Bulls game isn't being shown on WGN or CSN

I know. I said local teams can have noon local broadcasts with FOX's 3pm starts. I'm just saying no team can have a local broadcast between 3-6. But it never was a problem because only FOX games are scheduled in that time slot.

It's okay. Do any of us really want to see bad basketball played by one of the worst teams in the East? The Bulls don't deserve to be on anyone's TV this year.
