First of all, The thread is about Matt Murton who is one of the most forgettable guys to ever wield a bat in the big leagues.

Matt Murton had a respectable career. I don't want a guy on the playoff roster that hasn't taken a big league at bat in 7 years, but he was a guy that could hit at the big league level.

Lots of dudes were more forgettable than him.

What did he have, about 1000 big league at-bats? There are hundreds of guys just like him that you would never think of talking about.

You said most forgettable.

To me that would be guys like Scot with one T Thompson. But the fact that I remember him defeats my own argument.

So, I can't tell you the guys that are more forgettable than Matt Murton. Just believe me when I say other dudes have played in the MLB besides Matt Murton. But, I know that Matt Murton did.

He's pretty forgettable. Not as forgettable as Al "The Human Fly" Heist. But nobody is trying to put Al Heist on the playoff roster over Jason Heyward.

Heyward already had quite a heist.
