There was a 2-3 year period where a teenage Anthony Michael Hall was the best comedic actor in the business, bar none.

I have no idea why he stopped bringing the funny because he had great comedic timing. That bar scene in Weird Science is maybe the greatest example of his work because there had to be a lot of ad libbing going on.
