Illinois announces $132M renovation to Memorial Stadium. Going to redo the south end zone and east stands. It will be the best looking stadium no one uses in the Big Ten!

I hate to use the passive, but Purdue must be beaten.

I figure Div 1 kickers are 50-50 on anything over 25 yards.

I'd actually like to look into that (I'm not gonna, but it would be interesting). I'd have to agree....once in a while, you get a special one (Kevin Butler gave Georgia about ten wins from 1981-1984; David Treadwell did the same a few years later up the road at Clemson), and once in a while, someone like Reggie Ho makes the most of his opportunity, but you can't count on them.

Illini fumble. Yay.

He's gets a pass. Cupboard is bare. He'll bring 'em back. How far, not sure. But they'll be in a bowl game in two years.

I listened to overtime on the radio. Very sad, I thought they were turning a corner. Nickerson can't win the damn game all by himself on defense.

That fumble in OT was terrible. That RB was carrying it high and loose. What a dumb way to lose. Also, how many excessive celebration penalties can one team get?

That was the QB that fumbled.

Very undisciplined team, not well coached.

Sorry,I was doing something else at the time and just caught the game in the background. I'm not seeing any more wins on the schedule, maybe 2 at the most.

Rutgers is the worst team in the Big 14. Ohio State and Michigan outscored them 136-0.

2-10 wouldn't sit right with me, even for a guy who got the job in March, but I don't see another win on the schedule. This team was 5-4 last year after they beat Purdue. Crouch was awful against Rutgers. Anyone else would have laid 50+ plus on Rutgers with that big of a turnover differential. I tell myself things like Cal went 1-11 in Sonny Dykes' first year and Mike Leach was 3-9 a couple years ago. I want to believe.

I'm thinking this game in A2 tomorrow could be the most embarrassing lost in school history.

Yeah, Michigan losing would be the most embarrassing loss in their history. Worse than App State.

They have a chance to beat Minnesota, Michigan State, and Northwestern. I doubt they beat Iowa, and they will get killed by Michigan and Wisky.

Even worse than the game ('82?) when Michigan spotted them 21 & then put up 70 unanswered (iirc). Good times.

John Wick sucked, for some reason I think Jeff George junior is going to be great..that would be easier to type if his name was David George or Rudy George, why did his dad have to saddle him with the JR...don't seem right.
