I got tickets to games 1 and 2 in Cleveland for $782 each and $820 each and while they are bleacher tickets, they have seats. better to drive to Cleveland for the better deals by far. Got them yesterday, so I was taking a calculated gamble the Cubs would make it. I'm sure prices will increase with many Chicagoans looking into tickets now. Had the Dodgers made it, the market would have remained poor. Vivid Seats was the service I used there.

I have no idea what he said until I saw the replay like an hour ago. when that happened I went nuts. But ya it was cool. I like the term 'winning the pennant'. Seems like nobody uses it anymore. It's 'winning the NLCS' or 'Going to the World SEries'.

Good call by Buck. Maybe he rehearsed it.

I wonder if Buck did the call knowing that the Cubs would raise the "w" pennant on the scoreboard.

Very few places fly actual pennants today. That fucker was raised tonight.

On the very last play ,I thought the Dodgers were going to ask for a review of the play at first. I still was thinking that while the Cubs celebrated.

It gets buried because of losing to the Marlins and stuff, but Kerry Wood throwing 8 innings of one run ball in game 5 on the road against the Braves in 2003 was mega balls.

Not for nothing, but Kevin Tapani had a complete game shutout going into the bottom of the 9th in 1998 @ Atlanta till Javy Lopez donged one. Still would like to know what would have happened in that series if it went back to Chicago one game all.
