She uses disposable PerfecTouch coffee cups like us normal Americans do. So relatable. #ImWithHer

The ninth was pretty anti-climatic. I'm pretty sure this was taken in the morning before the day began. Hence the coffee in 2 cheap cups. This isn't a picture of someone at the end of a campaign day.

I'll have to go with Joe Mantegna since we share the same aunt and cousins. He also attended my parent's wedding as a little boy.

It is a shame because back in the day when he was in his 20s and early 30s, he was really good. Chet used to have him on COS about once a month when he first got started (probably 88ish) to talk NFL, local kid made good etc. His columns were usually pretty good, good enough that the Tribune tried to get him to come home before they hired Skip Payless.

At some point about 11-12 years ago, he started slipping and believing that he was part of the story. That might have been the time he ghosted "as told to" Barkley's autobiography. The columns became perfunctory and then gone, and the actual reporting went with it.

What's going on there pudding pop? I don't get all the hate in here, you got me, Ed Vedder, Billy Murray, Mike Wilbon, The HRC, and the first lady. Best of all worlds, baby! We're gonna celebrate with some Lou's in 4 more games. Gonna drink a pinot, go for a ride in the 'Vette, maybe head over to Bed Bath and Beyond and give out some pillow advice. Gonna be wild, awesome. Gotta get ready for Cubs Postseason live with Holly and our special guest for this one, my good buddy Ryno. That's right, sparkle crotch, Ryne Sandberg. Good times. Great people. Gonna have Producer Jared set these guys up with some pajamas from Pajamagram, maybe a nice hot chocolate assortment, and some down pillows. Gotta be well rested. Game time!

Take some calls...

William Petersen has really laid low. I'm assuming he's made it into the park for some of these playoff games and will certainly be at a WS game or two...yet he's been completely off the public radar.

Cool dude.

Yes. He's a good one. The real fan doesn't need to be mugging for the camera like an asshole and he attends games all season even when they suck. Speaking of which, maybe Morello is the most tolerable celeb fan.

I don't know if Petersen still lives local or not, but for awhile he had a house near Evanston Golf Club and would drink at Principal's Pub on Main Street in Skokie.
