Thats why I wanted someone to drop a bunt down. He would have shit his pants.

thats the thing about the INdians. Nobody scares you but you look up at the scoreboard and you're losing.

Francona will pitch him tomorrow no questions asked.

Good. The whole lineup has seen him now and have seen that he's human. I'm normally a sky is falling guy but this shutout feels 100x better than that Kershaw abomination from the NLCS.

We lose today and take the series in five. One trick ponies, and their trick has been exhausted.

Feels like the Cubs are feeling things out in the WS tonight. I don't see that intensity like last series. Hope we can win game 2.

 To a Sox fan, the Cubs regular lineup might look like "the kitchen sink." To most baseball fans, it's just the batting order.

You're telling me there's something more up the Cubs sleve than what they ran out there in the 7th and 8th? They even pinch hit Contreras.

The Cubs threw every ounce they had into Miller and he bent, but didn't break. Does not bode well for the Cubs later in the series.

If I'm the Indians, I'm worried.

Lester wasn't sharp but held you to three runs.

The Cubs are going to figure out Miller.

Kluber was great but if you're going to pitch him on three days rest twice he's going to get rocked.

Sucks to lose this one but it looks like the Cubs should win this series.

Honest question. Is it because you are now watching and not able to see the action? I feel the same and I only listened to the games. I have not listened to Pat and Ron tonight.

A touch of the "we're just glad to be here" tonight. Hopefully that's gone tomorrow.

I think if you're the Indians you're feeling good. They've won like this all playoffs. No rust.

Cubs seem like they're feeling them out.

Up their sleeve? I think you're overcomplicating the game of baseball. You can't run flea flickers and fake punts. They simply need to go hit him next time, and they will.

I don't get that at all. Kluber was outstanding. There was nothing anyone was doing vs him.

They battled vs Miller and Miller got the best of them.

I don't see anything that says they are just glad to be there.

So the Cubs weren't trying to win tonight? This was all just some expedition to gather intelligence?

Come on. All this nonsense gets thrown out when a team doesn't hit. Every team looks bad when they don't hit. It's not because they're just happy to be there or they're flat or they're complacent. It means they didn't have timely hitting.

Hank I'll give you a reference you'll like. This whole Miller outing was like in The Stand when Flagg
came to Glen Batemans cell for the first time and Glen saw him and said "'So we finally get a look at the Boogeyman" and was so unimpressed he ended up laughing his ass off at ever having been afraid of him when he saw how mundane he was.

I can tell you've been a giant retard you're entire life.

So, you're in the World Series...and instead of trying to win you sacrifice a game to.....feel the other team out. In baseball, no less! Don't you "feel the other team up" with watching tape and such? Scouring the #'s during another Joe Maddon Furry Sleepover at the park?

This is the World Series. Big boy time.
