Still feeling good? Cleveland is electrified, they know they can play their game and run the Cubs out of the building. Their 9 hitter who cant hit water if he fell out of a boat just cranked 2 HR 4 RBI in the World Series against the vaunted Cubs.

Thanks for all your contributions to the 2016 Hector Rondon, but now please take a seat over here for the rest of the series.

Thank you, Hector.
now stay on the bench the rest of the series, and get traded to San Diego in December.

Positive note, Maddon knows Rondon is buried.

Now he won't come in to blow a lead.

The Cubs threw the kitchen sink at Miller. An entire trip through the lineup (Schwarber twice even), RISP, high leverage, take-take-take (with a few borderline calls going the Cubs way)...no runs. This isn't Sergio Romo, this isn't Joe Blanton...Miller doesn't back down.

Francona will pitch him tomorrow no questions asked.

Good. The whole lineup has seen him now and have seen that he's human. I'm normally a sky is falling guy but this shutout feels 100x better than that Kershaw abomination from the NLCS.

Hank I'll give you a reference you'll like. This whole Miller outing was like in The Stand when Flagg
came to Glen Batemans cell for the first time and Glen saw him and said "'So we finally get a look at the Boogeyman" and was so unimpressed he ended up laughing his ass off at ever having been afraid of him when he saw how mundane he was.

  I like it!

Glen dies, much like the Cubs lose tonight but in the end the good guys win.

I just hope it doesn't require a nuke to get it done.

Can't really bitch about Maddon's bullpen moves if the Cubs can't Score a run. Doesn't matter if you don't score.

Yeah I'm feeling good.
I really don't care if they lose by 3 or 12.
Unless... these runs transfer over to the next game and no one told us...

That didn't happen did it?

If Roberto Perez was just feeling the Cubs out and he hit 2 HR, what happens next? 4 HR? 5 HR?

Yup. He knew this was over and wanted to see what he had. Rondon will be buried in a Cleveland landfill tomorrow.

Yes. A 5 run home run. You actually used this twice today.

Yeah. I feel fine actually.

I chalked this up as a loss in the 4th. I'm just glad they showed themselves Miller isn't anything to piss down your leg about. Go get game two.

Momentum is tomorrow's starting pitcher. I'll take the defending Cy Young winner over Drone McGee.

Did you know Dexter Fowler is the first black player to ever play in a WS for the Cubs?
