Yes, ignoring posts is easy. I remember all the times you took the high road with Big Fan and ignored what he wrote. You are an inspiration to us all.

Don't pick on Frank. Between diferentiating between orders of scrambled eggs and watching eleven year old White Sox re-runs he has a lot on his plate!!!

 Nobody took the high road with bigfan. For a while, I was one of a very few to call him out on his bullshit. The rest of you finally saw his true colors.

Well, I have to say, I'm not happy with the way things went down with bigfan, and it's certainly not the way I would have wanted things to shake out. I always liked the guy and really, still do. I was never upset with bigfan and I don't think Nas and Seacrest were either. He was upset with us. But I can understand a guy getting emotional over something he built. As far as his "censorship" of the board is concerned, I think we have seen that there are any number of CFMB members that would like to censor the board, just not in the exact same way as bigfan did.

If you guys plan on monetizing it, you will need to censor things eventually.

If you want this to be your playground...different story.

I don't think you understand how many new registrations / daily unique visitors SomeGuy and those like him keep away. Don't piss away opportunity.

That's pretty much the way bigfan thought.

I've never been interested in making money from this site. I don't even know if it's possible. I doubt anything significant can be made from it. I knocked down several thousand from a Clark Griswold site a couple years ago. I think this place is too esoteric.

I can't speak for Nas or Seacrest, but my only interest was to maintain the board in the way it has been since I found it and be able to talk to Douchebag.

Yep.

Frank was one of the leaders of the "His board, his rules" chants

I was running circles around Bigfan before Frank was rating breakfasts around the Chicagoland area.

I was. And I was wrong.

About 2009-2010 is when things changed.

I'm sure there are those who might say the same thing about you.

There could be. But I think sites like reddit prove differently. You can have any opinion you want no matter how far out there...and there are some great arguments to be had.

But you do not run around calling everyone f*gg*t.

You're not wrong. A large number of gamers (read: MANY) have the absolute worse social skills and little understanding of how to be respectful of others.

But...avoid XBOX Live and you limit your exposure to those types.

Rags to riches. etc etc
