I had a course with a professor who would ask his students before the start of class to fill his water bottle up down the hall. One time they filled it with vodka but he didn't call them on it and played along drinking it for the entire 2 hours. The class went so well he started drinking before class for the remainder of the semester and he claims he got the best teaching evals of his career for that course.

Tuition money well-spent.
