Will Terry be at the remote today? He seemed to indicate he would at the end of the show yesterday.

Anyone going that can report back?

"What's so amazing is that we could do this show, come back to work on Monday, and the Cubs will be World Series champions. Imagine that! We leave for the weekend, come back, and Theo won the damn World Series. That's a weekend. That's a thing. The Cubs win the World Series and we're that many days closer to this terrible election being over, tOO. And (sigh), that's another thing. As historic and amazing as this would be, the...politics of certain members of the Ricketts family can't...(sigh), well, can't be fully ignored. And that's a problem. But it's a problem that's...somewhat mitigated to some extent by other, less prominent members of the family who are on the right side of history, and you'd like to wish would be front and center on the right side of baseball history as well. But there is part of me that...(sigh)...that wishes Jerry could have won both, you know? Imagine Rizzo handing the game ball to Theo and Theo handing it to Jerry. There wouldn't be a bigger moment in Chicago sports history. DAAAAAH WHADDABOUT WEN DA HAWKS WON DA -- NO. Not. Even. Close. But hey, Jerry gave the Cubs his blessing. Maybe they'll just give him, I dunno, Matt Szczur's bat. They'll work something out. All politics is local."

A complimentary critique from Dave on a Bernstein impression is, essentially, praise from Caesar.

They said that they are broadcasting from The Score's brand new mobile broadcast booth. This is the maiden voyage - sounds good so far.

Terry sounds pretty good.

Kirkwood is correct - Bernsie is sporting a blue Kool-Aid mustache (By Cracky!).

Anybody there to post a pic?

Brenstein knew this whole Cubs World Series thing was serious when his kid's hockey coach declared today's practice; optional.

I was just thinking that. Someone yesterday on the bored mentioned that he sounded like he was talking through some swelling ... which I still hear but not as much as yesterday. The afternoon is young though, perhaps it gets worse with use?

Not sure no one will say a thing. Which is odd seeing that they want to know every minor detail about everything else going on with people.

Maybe somebody thinks there is a potential workman's comp angle and so they don't want it discussed?? As in "Terry broke his voice from years and years of by cracky on the air."
