Bryant has lost his strike zone discipline.

Let's hope he finds it before the series is over...

Bryant, Baez, Contreras and Russell with some ugly-ass swings tonight. They didn't win 103 games with these guys swinging at that garbage, why are they starting now?

I'm happy that all of the burritos that are spending hundreds of dollars to watch the game with fairweather fans in a bar are witnessing this.

They're part of the problem.

Fuck this entire franchise.

You're a grown man on a Friday night trolling Cubs fans. Let's keep that in perspective.

They are trying to hard.

Not controlling the moment.

They better adjust - fast.

This game looks over...

Cmon guys, give Cleveland some credit. They have pitched great today. So have the Cubs. Hendricks was probably the worst of the nite and all he gave up was a few baserunners.

I agree. Cubs pitchers should be commended for keeping the game within one siwng.

Being shut out four times in the playoffs is pathetic.

Every Cub in the lineup seems to be swinging for the fences. That's not good.

I'm not talking about a swing-and-miss on a Miller slider, or a curveball that starts at the top of the zone. All four of the guys I listed have swung at breaking balls that bounced into the catcher, and were only seeming on the way to the strikezone immediately after leaving the pitcher's hand. They've missed on good pitches, sure, but they're swinging at garbage, too.

They made it to the World Series with this formula. What does that say about the state of MLB?

I think there's still a decent chance Allen implodes and the Cubs win, but if that doesn't happen you have to question the usage of Schwarber. Huge shift in momentum after getting out of the jam, runner on second...even Tito was anticipating it by having Miller ready. Wound up just getting him in the game to get him in the game in the bottom of the 8th with no real cause other than it was the pitchers spot.
