Exactly which managerial decision did Maddon do wrong here?

So as i said...this is an L. Said it because it was the truth and have been watching baseball for 30 years thank you. And again, series isn't over. But this was not in the cards.

ya i was afraid this was coming down to Baez. Lucked out with Heyward, but guy is just too over agressive this series. Had so many bad AB's. I forgot which game but the CLE pitcher walked 2 guys on 8 straght balls but Baez swings at the first 2 shit pitches.

cle is good. they shut down big offensives. it's going to be hard to get a win tomorrow.

How so? Players either made the plays or didn't. Francona used his best in the circumstances and it worked out. Not sure what exact move Maddon did that was a mistake. Please help me out here.

For someone who has Dan Bernstein permanently floating within their consciousness, CH is quite the Cubs hater.

Mustve been all those at-bats Maddon took with runners on and didn't come through.

Find a dick to eat too. Am I supposed to be impressed because you decided to give up in the fifth inning or whenever?

Also, 30 years ago I'd been watching baseball for seven years already ... you know what that means? Nothing, same as your 30 years of viewership.

Jesus ... I expect that kind of shit out of the riff-raff, not you.

Maddon should've PH Schwarber instead of Montero. He had an opportunity to score and he passed it up because he wanted to save Schwarber. He was passive.

Meanwhile Francona was aggressively playing the game like it was going to end 1-0. He pulled Carlos Santana much earlier than expected, PH for Miller when that decision seemed very questionable, he pulled Tomlin out of nowhere...he went balls out and Maddon didn't.

Not really. Most people who picked the Cubs said in 6 or 7.

Montero hit one of the hardest balls of the night.

It was a tense game. I had a feeling they just didn't have it. Ump really helped out Hendricks get out of some jams.

Seems like the wind blowing out cubs were trying to hit it out of the park instead of just getting on base.

I mean fuck, get out the house more. I imagine Hockey Gay lives in Rantoul, and Cubs games are the biggest attraction in town.

A frustrating loss no doubt, but hats off to Cleveland's pitching staff. Let's come back out tomorrow and try and tie this thing up.

Don't lose faith.

You knew Montero wasn't going to do shit and he didn't. Schwarber, in that situation, would've put the ball over the wall. Francona seemed certain Schwarber was coming in with his use of Miller.

Yeah, I want Lester on proper rest. Either he's there to give us a lead in the series or give us life going back to Cleveland.

Exactly on point. Unfortunately, you think HG is the best game day poster tho.

.... I still love you.
