A big reason the offense is a problem is because they are not facing the Giant shit bullpen or the Dodger shit bullpen (other than Jansen), but a bullpen with Miller, Shaw, Allen....The Cubs are no longer playing shit ass NL teams. Welcome to the AL Central, Cub fans.

You believe the AL central is a dominant division?

Or just the Indians bulpen?

This clown doesn't believe anything.

He's an America mult.

Wrong.

NL sucks ass.

The Cubs should have traded for Cleveland's entire roster. Then they wouldn't be in this position.

Then they would have had a team that played 91 games against teams .500 and over instead of the 56 games played by the current Cub roster!

Meaningless. This series could easily be tied at two.

Except it's 3-1.

Wrong. Clearly a Rick mult.

Additional evidence he's not America: he hasn't accused me of inflicting psychological damage on my daughter.

Indian bullpen this year, KC last year. But the NL is filled with shit ass teams. Dodgers and Giants would not have sniffed the playoffs in the AL. Those offensive lineups and bullpens were comparable to the White Sox'. Awful.

The Indians absolutely demolished the two "best" AL teams though.

And no the White Sox are not similar to the Dodgers that's a huge stretch. Giants maybe they were garbage in second half.

Anyway, Go Cubs. Glad you're enjoying the series!

Good pitching beats good hitting. We've seen it before in the World Series. 1988 is a prime example when the Dodgers beat the A's. That should not have been a close series.

Kike Hernandez actually led off in an NLCS game. Chase Utley is actually a starter. That is White Sox-eque. But you are right, I'd probably take the Sox pitching staff over the Dodgers. The every day lineups for either team? Yuck.

Edit: I like how K-i-k-e comes up as nut.

Where did I say that? They are the best team in the NL, by far. They are deserving to be in the World Series. I think they would be a really good AL team over a full season and an AL playoff team.

I remember a team in 2003 that was up 3-1 and everyone thought it was all over.

Here’s How Not To Let Cubs’ Saturday Loss Get You Down
October 30, 2016 4:06 PM By Nancy Harty

CHICAGO (CBS) — Cubs fans have good reason to feel a little depressed after the last loss to the Indians, decades of waiting for a World Series run and more than a century of waiting for a World Series win.

But a local psychaitrist says they shouldn’t let those feelings fester, WBBM’s Nancy Harty reports.

“Feeling alittle bit melancholy for a little bit of time, it’s not abmormal, you just got to get up each day,” said Robert Schulman, associate chair of psychaitry at Rush University.

The key, he says, is not to let it linger.

“This is not something that should produce a clinical depression that requires treatment, he says. “This is just a game. And life goes on.”

With the talent of this year’s team, he says, if necessary, a “Wait until next year” attitude is a wise one.

16 times this season the Cubs won 3 or more in a row.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!?!

I wouldn't call the AL Central "dominant" but I think the White Sox are a very similar team to the Giants. That gets you a sub-.500 record and fourth place in the AL, it gets you the playoffs in the NL.

Yup. Cubs win tonight and put the pressure on the Indians. We need a Gene Hackman speech.

No meathead, that pen shutdown the Jays n Boston, Fowler hit a solo shot n is the lone run on Miller... The AL central ain't shit, the Indians are just a very good team with a very good manager...they picked up Miller 10 weeks ago.
