Cubs still havent really touched an Indians pitcher other than Bauer. Francona gave him too long a leash and paid the price. At least there will be no more Carlos Santana in LF.

I was reserved to the fact tonight cubs were done. Just how well Indians are playing. But now they've given us hope. I dont know if they can get 2 in Cle against their pitching staff, but the 73 win Warriors chocked a 3-1 finals lead so anything can happen.

Let's go Cubs.

Does anyone feel like the Go Cubs Go singalong seemed a bit nervous.

I'm just pissed we didn't get Andrew Miller so we can bring him in the 5th inning and along Chapman they could make the game only 4 innings .

I think Ken Rosenthal wanted to conduct that interview with Kris Bryant from inside Bryant's pants.

I hope tomorrow they sit down with Baez and knock some sense into him about swinging at balls down in the dirt.

41,000 people singing Steve Goodman. Dan Bernstein hasn't hated a Jew this much since Czerniakow.

Steve Goodmans guitar pick had more talent than Dan Bernstein has.

It's sad that Goodman has been dead for 32 years. But his songs live on. Let's not mention his other famous cubs song LOL :)

Always thought the Cubs should play "Go Cubs Go" for wins and "A Dying Cub Fan's Last Request" for losses, like how the Yankees alternate between Frank and Liza's "New York, New York."

I'm too tired to sort through them but Big Red with some truly awful Costanzaesque baseball thoughts re: Chapman

Speaking of populist pandering, look at all this saluting the fans. THIS. IS. NOT. FOR. YOU.

How do you think the guy who threw the $25,000 home run ball back onto field feels right now? Mixed emotions?

Great win. Still way to many awful at bats. Baez and Heyward are basically useless at this point. Huge stones from Lester and Chapman tonight. Didn't agree with Maddon, but it worked. If Chapman fucked up the 9th, everyone would of had Maddon's ass for not hitting for Chapman. Need to knock down 2 more. I have a good feeling about Jake on Tuesday. I think they light Tomlin's ass up this time, like they should of done the first time. Got a feeling this thing goes to game 7.
