what's the story behind that?

Earlier in the thread a few baseball collectible appraisers had assessed Ramirez's home run as worth a fortune. Scolded him for throwing it back onto the field.

That throw fired up the players!!!!! $25,000 be damned!!!!

Baez Bunt. Ross Sac Fly. That's how you win playoff games.

They really have to get guys moving from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd with no outs.

Play some more small ball at the right situations.

You think Ross will catch in game 6?

I love you, Dolph, but this is so wrong, it hurts. Cleveland might not even be here if not for Miller. Cubs might not either. Butterfly effect.

Let's be honest, Mike Murphy and others are correct in that the song is a pre-game song. Not post game. It is not perfect, but all things considered a good after game song. What other ballpark has a better after game song? Love it or hate it, it apparently works.

This is America level of trolling bad. He doesn't hit and they wouldn't be playing Cleveland.

HAHAHA I remember back in the 80s they use to play it every time in the pre game. I guess in the last 7-10 years it's a post game win song. But I love it as a post game song. When you're not in Chicago and you meet people that find out your a cubs fan, they always say that they love GO CUBS GO or sing it to me.

The Cubs have lost 6-1, 7-2, 1-0 .Somehow having Miller would've made the Cubs win those 3 games

G4 - worst defense all year.
G5 - SOLID defense other than Chapman.

Contreras STUD. Zobrist keeping Napoli to a single was huge.

A big reason the offense is a problem is because they are not facing the Giant shit bullpen or the Dodger shit bullpen (other than Jansen), but a bullpen with Miller, Shaw, Allen....The Cubs are no longer playing shit ass NL teams. Welcome to the AL Central, Cub fans.

You believe the AL central is a dominant division?

Or just the Indians bulpen?

I wouldn't call the AL Central "dominant" but I think the White Sox are a very similar team to the Giants. That gets you a sub-.500 record and fourth place in the AL, it gets you the playoffs in the NL.

Giants had a great first half and got out far enough that they still skidded into playoffs. Kind of an odd year.

But I don't think 4th place team being similar to a WC team is that crazy either. Its usually a ifference of 5-6 games over 162

It's worth probably a few thousand. Maybe more if the Indians win the series. It's a World Series home run ball! There really aren't that many of them. The point is, the same dope who threw it back would probably flip his shit if he lost a hundred dollar bill. Never mind that the whole "tradition" is phony as fuck and it's a different ball that often gets tossed back. But there's a decent chance the goof who did it hasn't been to another game all season.
