The AL and NL both use the same rules when the teams play each other.

The purposely idiotic refusal to acknowledge professional DHs being on the AL bench or starting line up is good stuff.

Most AL teams don't have a "professional DH" and some NL teams do, or at least they have guys who would be if they played in the other league. This is a dumb argument to explain AL dominance which also exists in NL ballparks when no DH is used. Try again.

Could you please provide NL teams that have a professional DH?

Chicago

 That's a beating.

If I'm the Indians, my pitching lineup is:

Tomlin: Once through the lineup
Shaw: Ditto
Miller: Ditto
Allen: Ditto

I'd give Miller a little more leeway, but if Francona had done this yesterday, the Cubs may have been finished. He should have felt fortunate to go once through with Bauer.

The interleague record says otherwise.

That has already been explained. Keep up.

How has it been "explained"? The AL has a winning record in the NL parks.

Also explained. Keep up.

Which is kind of surprising as the AL is at more of a disadvantage in NL parks than the NL is in AL parks.

No.

The difference between a team's DH and the ninth position player on an NL team is much greater than the difference in hitting skill between a NL pitcher and an AL pitcher.

Look at the entire post I quoted. I think you may be confused. All you are doing is explaining why the AL is a higher level of baseball, not refuting the premise that it is.

Reminds me of CoF saying Shaq wouldn't have been great if he was 6'8". Well, he wasn't. End of argument.

Tip of the cap to Wayne Messmer. He can still belt it out. As much as I like Jim Cornelison, Wayne is my sentimental favorite for the anthem.

Maybe it's just me, but when his wife started attention whoring and joining him to sing, it just became...terrible. I mean, when I actually go to a Wolves game, and I hear "Wayne and Kathleen Messmer" at anthem time, that's usually my signal for a piss break.

Lowest team exit velocity against curveballs, 2016
84.3 mph — Cubs
84.5 mph — Reds
85.1 mph — Yankees
86.2 mph — Giants / Phillies
The Cubs have just a .201 average (the eighth lowest) on curves, and if you’re now rightfully thinking that you only worry about exit velocity and average when contact is made, well, Chicago had a 32.1 percent contact rate when swinging at curves — which is the lowest in the Majors.

He has a radio show Sunday nights on 90.9. It's not bad. Mostly just plays standards.

And yet the Cubs were only just slightly below average when it came to wCB/C. Additionally, the Cubs saw the fourth least amount of curveballs out of all 30 MLB teams over the course of the season. And when you break it down by individual players...out of players that got regular at-bats throughout the season, only Baez and Russell can be identified as truly susceptible to curveballs.

Heyward actually isn't terrible vs. the curveball. Still below average this year...but he was below average on everything.

High fastballs are his kryptonite. Even right down the middle fastballs. Anything over 92, honestly.
