It's a strawman because I've never said the playoffs were a crapshoot.
Well, you said they weren't a "total crap shoot".

However, that contradicts your previous statement that every single GM that makes the playoffs did an equally good job for the whole season.

Pressure is on Cubs fans to understand facts. MANY of you are having an incredibly difficult time with doing so this morning.

Okay, Frankie Pancakes, please explain the facts to us.
At least explain the facts that you are qualified to explain.
Things like why maple syrup is better than "maple-flavored syrup."
Things like why wheat toast is better for you than regular toast.
Things like why a glass of prune juice keeps you more regular than a glass of orange juice.
Please stick to breakfast, please, because you don't know a God damned thing about baseball.

Frank hasn't said anything wrong, except I guess if you want to get semantical about his use of the word facts. Cub fans like leash and Hank are simply projecting in this thread. Even the great baseball sage Don Tiny more or less agreed with Frank and I.

Also, lets say this is in fact true, although it's clearly not. Who gives a shit? It doesn't mean anything. After game 1, the pressure was on the Cubs, and they won! After Game 4, the pressure was definitely on the Cubs. They won again! After they went down 2-1 to LA following back to back shutouts, the pressure was on the Cubs more than LA. Cubs won again!

Pressure doesn't really mean shit since it's impossible to analyze in any objective way. Lay off my guy Frank until you find something actually worth criticizing.

There's pressure on both teams...plenty...but more on the Cubs obviously. You lose you go home empty handed.

Pressure is absolutely on Cleveland. The Cubs were already left for dead after Saturday. They were the jimmypastas of baseball. Winning three straight games was just a pipe dream.

The Indians, however, now have the realization that if they don't close this out tomorrow night, the clock starts to tick.

How did everyone gloss over the bolded text? Luckily, jimmy posted subsequent, so he is alive and possibly well.

Sarley is certainly amusing and persistent. I am not crazy that he picked Frank as his target, but it has provided a couple of laughs.

Pressure Index
Game 5: 99% Cubs, 1% Indians
Game 6: 60% Cubs, 40% Indians
If Cubs win Game 6
Game 7: 10% Cubs, 90% Indians

The clip of the Cleveland OF is going to haunt them for awhile.

Pressure on Cubs now. Losing game 7 would be a collapse.
