This box of nerds candy has a disclaimer on it that says "May Contain Eggs".

How do you not know if it contains eggs? Are some people getting boxes that taste different because they have eggs in them and others are not? One of the two has to be better so why not just always put eggs in it or never put eggs in it?

I imagine that they make products that contain eggs and it's possible that in the making of Nerds they come in contact with those products.

Sounds reasonable ... though if true, do they not use nuts (by cracky!) to make any candy? Maybe they do but in an entirely different location?
